Optional Extra 1: Attend a practical, live,
training day at the Royal Courts of Justice (the High Court). If you live in or
near London this optional course choice will allow you to carry out various
legal assignments in and around the High Court as if you were actually working
for a firm of solicitors. Also, you will be able to develop your legal
note taking skills at a real court hearing. As part of a small group a qualified
trainer will supervise and assist you.

Optional Extra 2: In
today's complex world a knowledge of IT (Information Technology) is a definite
bonus. It has many applications and the use of Information Technology is
becoming more common place in the legal field e.g. during complex
trials/hearings. Students who feel that they would like to
increase their knowledge of IT can take our 3 Part Introduction
to IT course. This option is only £49 for those on this

deciding to work for themselves a knowledge of business and accounts is
knowledge worth having. Students who feel that they may, some time in the
future, want to consider working for themselves (e.g. as a legal secretary
